How TRON Energy Works

TRON uses a resource-based model with two primary resources:

• Energy — used for smart contract execution
• Bandwidth — used for basic transactions

Energy is obtained by freezing TRX. The more TRX frozen, the more energy available daily.

Getting Started

1. Install TronLink

Download TronLink from tronlink.org and set up your wallet.

2. Freeze TRX for Energy

In TronLink, navigate to "Freeze" and freeze TRX. Each frozen TRX provides energy daily.

3. Connect to the Optimizer

Visit the homepage and click "Connect TronLink Wallet".

4. Review Your Analysis

The tool shows your total energy, usage, and available resources.

5. Optimize

Click "Optimize My Energy" to apply recommendations.
